In June 1977 a big figure of Kwan Im in Port Stanley, Hongkong had moved miraculously. This event was preceded by the radiation of light from the precious stone being adhered on the said pratima forehead, and witnessed by many followers (of religion) who at that time solemnly prayed. This news was quoted by Pikiran Rakyat newspaper, Bandung of 7 June 1977 edition, from one of dailies in Hong Kong.
